Halloween: The Game platforms and PC requirements
Compare Halloween: The Game platforms and published Windows minimum and recommended PC requirements for processor, memory, graphics, DirectX, and SSD storage.

Halloween: The Game is officially announced for Windows PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The Epic Games Store lists Windows 11 64-bit, 16 GB RAM, DirectX 12, and 45 GB of SSD or NVMe space as minimum requirements; its recommended memory is 32 GB. Review the full table and your own hardware before purchasing.
This is a source-led compatibility reference, not a benchmark. The values below were read from the Epic Games Store page on September 5, 2026 and are paired with the platform list in IllFonic's official launch announcement. Store requirements, drivers, operating-system support, and performance targets may be updated. A specification that clears the minimum line is not a promise of a particular frame rate, resolution, online experience, or feature parity with another platform.
Officially announced platforms
IllFonic states that Halloween: The Game launches on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The official launch material names Steam and Epic Games Store as the PC storefronts. This page deliberately does not extend that list to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, macOS, Linux, Nintendo Switch, mobile hardware, or subscription services because the reviewed sources do not establish those versions.
The Epic product page labels the Windows version with features including Controller Support, Cross Platform, Online Multiplayer, Co-op, and Single Player. Those storefront labels provide useful starting context, but each label has a limit. “Cross Platform” does not itself document cross-progression, account linking, save transfer, every platform pairing, or private-match behavior. “Controller Support” does not specify a controller model, button layout, accessibility option, or whether keyboard and mouse are available on every platform. Treat those questions as details to confirm through current platform documentation or testing.
Windows requirements at a glance
The following values reproduce the Windows requirement categories published by Epic when checked. “Minimum” and “recommended” are the storefront's labels, not measurements taken by this wiki. Hardware model ranges and the stated performance target are preserved so you can compare them with your own system.
| Category | Minimum | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| Operating system | Windows 11 64-bit | Windows 11 64-bit |
| CPU platform | Intel LGA 1200+ / AMD AM4+ (Zen 2+) | Intel LGA 1700+ / AMD AM5+ |
| Memory | 16 GB RAM | 32 GB RAM |
| Graphics | GTX 1660+ / RX 590+ / Arc A770+ (1080p at 30 fps) | RTX 3000 series / RX 7000 series (4K at 30 fps) |
| DirectX | Version 12 | Version 12 |
| Storage | 45 GB available space, SSD/NVMe | 45 GB available space, SSD/NVMe |
The table uses platform or series language in several rows rather than one exact CPU or GPU. That makes a simple name match unreliable. A computer can have a similarly named part while differing in laptop power limits, cooling, memory bandwidth, installed drivers, available storage, or operating-system build. If you are close to the floor, compare the actual model and system configuration with current technical guidance from the platform or your hardware maker rather than relying on a rough “newer must be faster” rule.
How to read the graphics and memory lines
The Epic listing associates its minimum graphics line with 1080p at 30 fps and its recommended graphics line with 4K at 30 fps. These are the store's stated targets, not a universal setting recipe. The page does not establish the exact preset, effects, ray-tracing behavior, upscaling setting, scene complexity, network conditions, or future patch version used for those targets. Avoid turning them into a promise that every machine in that tier will deliver the same result.
Memory is a straightforward but important difference: 16 GB at minimum and 32 GB as recommended. That does not mean the game alone consumes every listed gigabyte. Your operating system, browser tabs, capture tools, overlays, background launchers, and other software share the same system resources. If a system has only the minimum amount, close unnecessary software and leave room for updates rather than assuming the memory figure covers the whole machine's workload.
Storage is not just a capacity question. Epic explicitly calls for 45 GB of available SSD/NVMe space in both columns. A drive should have room for the initial installation and routine platform updates; a nearly full drive can introduce practical problems even when its headline capacity exceeds 45 GB. This page does not infer download size, compression behavior, patch size, or final installed footprint beyond that published available-space requirement.
Before you buy or install
Start with the basics. Confirm that the computer is running a supported 64-bit Windows 11 installation, has DirectX 12 support, and uses an SSD or NVMe drive with enough free space. Then compare memory and graphics to the official table. Finally, read the current store page on the same account that will make the purchase. A listing can change its price, language support, availability date, classification, or hardware notes after this page was checked.
For a console purchase, the official platform names are the reliable starting point. This page does not speculate about console resolution modes, storage footprint, frame-rate modes, online subscription requirements, cloud streaming, or upgrade entitlements. Those are platform-specific questions whose answer can change by region and date. Use the relevant PlayStation or Xbox product listing when it is available for your region, then compare its wording with the publisher's official announcement.
The launch announcement also confirms Digital Deluxe early access and the full release window. If you are still choosing where or when to play, return to release, editions, and early access. For announced game modes, roles, and the limits of the cross-platform listing, see the gameplay overview. The map overview covers the four locations announced for multiplayer launch; it does not use PC specifications to promise performance on any map.
Languages, age gates, and source boundaries
Epic lists English audio and text options that include Spanish (Spain), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Russian. That language list belongs to the Epic listing checked on September 5, 2026. It should not be expanded into a claim that every storefront offers the same language set or that every platform localizes every feature identically. Steam may show an age verification page before its product details, which can prevent a quick public check of its current listing.
The sources used here are the Epic Games Store product page and IllFonic's official launch announcement. They establish the published hardware table and platform scope, not real-world performance testing. When a patch or store update changes a requirement, this page should be revised with the new source and date rather than silently retaining an older specification.
